New"ed" as in, added some NEW pics to the thread...did ya come here for something else? 
better clues to the "tail tale of the tang"...I think @clampdaddy nailed it on post #8...definitely showing evidence of turnage with the trace remnants of a hexagon left behind!
the matte sheen on that chonky INFI guard is simply GAWWWJUSSS!
swedge ground in to perfect precision!
damn beautiful convex edge...

Looks like nearly 5.5" or so. Should be big enough for my hands...... maybe....

I just really like clip point blades
I still think an 8” ASHBM would be excellent
It’s called an ASH2. But they only came coated a no swedge unfortunately lol.

The other option: B8 with the "War Feather" Modification of Will York...Granted it's got the Res-C handle not Micarta.It’s called an ASH2. But they only came coated a no swedge unfortunately lol.
