Battle Saw Makeover

Thanks, The Battle Saw is now how I envisioned it when I first saw the Offering! Josh is doing a TGLB for me as we speak, (Full Satin) then another Battle Saw or Huck Fin will receive the Makeover!!!

Oh my. I can't wait to see these when they're done. A satin TGLB will look amazing and I don't think there's even a word for how awesome a satin HF would look.

Agreed, The Corrugated Bevel Technology however poses problems! Most Blade Smiths will not even attempt to mess with it! My guess is this is why (Only a Guess) Busse does not offer it in Satin! Same with the TGLB, the fuller is a Problem! If I remember Correctly Josh said he could do the Battle Saw with a Satin Finish, but the CBT would be Bead Blasted! Regardless it looks MUCH, MUCH better Now! One of The Huck Fin's I have coming will be unpacked and sent immediately to Josh (I just do not like coating of any kind of knife)

Oh man that looks sweet! That's the 2nd or 3rd one I've seen here that's been bead blasted. It really makes me want to get mine done!

One question though, when it gets blasted do they leave the scales attached or are they removed before blasting?
Thanks

The scales were not removed on mine! The TGLB I have Josh doing for me will have the handles removed and Torx fasteners installed so I can remove them anytime for cleaning! Keep in mind The TGLB I am having done is Satin (More expensive than Bead Blasting), you would have to Contact Josh at Razor's edge to see if he offered to remove the handles and re-install them for Bead Blasting-Thanks

Leave the scales on and blast them, too. Lightly blasted G10 is a nice grippy surface.

Badass. I too look forward to hearing how it performs compared to a stock Battle Saw.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm gonna get this done to my Huck Fin I'm thinking!
