battle saw with handguard

How would it work when sawing? When I picture using it to saw it seems like it would get in the way of an ideal grip. Would certainly look bad ass though.

I'd need a matched set to double fist during the zombie apocalypse.
I think it goes without saying that the #1 reason to buy larger Busse Blades is in preparation for the Zombie Apocalypse.

The back of the BattleSaw is servicable for sawing in a pinch, but no doubt everyone can chop through & through thick stuff more efficiently with the edge.

It will saw through & through thicker stuff when called upon...always nice to have options and redundancy in one knife options.

But as FAL'ER FAL'ER stated above ^^^ it's good at woodcraft....I'd go further to say it EXCELS at notching, especially when stripped down to bare INFI...

shut down?
The red headed accidental step child (possibly the cyclops living in the basement) kinda thing…
Since the Bully run off in his neon sneakers Swamp has struggled!
… I mean… the anniversary Ratweilers have been ordered… and the dings only started 2 YEARS later…

WW 3..... and I'd like it if the teeth were in the opposite direction of the og battle saw. Make it a pull saw instead of push

That's how the Saw ManDu was. Also it was the Swamps last knife before they shut down.

Yup - pull saw with a full flat grind so the saw teeth are the thickest part of the blade and it doesn’t wedge in wood. Actually saws pretty decently. Not gonna mistake it for a Silky Saw or anything but…

I would buy a battle saw with handguard. in infi. and, go!

I just might buy that! (Although I’d probably have to sell off my Sawmandu to justify it 😢).

A full guard could be awesome on a sawback. You probably wouldn’t want the rear “hook” like on the Battle-Saw because it would interfere with your sawing grip, but the upper part of the guard, if done well, could provide a nice place to hook your index finger around (e.g. an upside-down choil) to help with sawing. The only thing that makes sawing with the Sawmandu difficult is that you have to grip the handle pretty tight while sawing (unless you use a lanyard which also helps).
