K kankan I'd recommend getting a membership if you want to be active on the forums. It's not too expensive.

I think all of us on BF are trying to figure out how to stem the problems from all the fraudulent activity happening due to someone's account getting hacked.

The site has a few of technical problems and needs features and protections added:
* Forced 2FA for all users
* DMs available for all levels (even free users) to stop public email sharing on profile pages and the exchange
* Scrubbing all emails, phone numbers, and other contact info from any public part of the site.
