So I have been considering purchasing the Woodsman Pro by BattleHorse Knives for some time now but I am stuck on whether to get it in a Scandi edge or Saber Ground. Advice would be much appreciated.

I've had a saber ground one for a few years and that thing just eats through wood. Absolutely fantastic knife. Their O1 gets back to a razor edge really easily with a strop.

Scandi might work better for you if all you have are stones. I personally wouldn't trade mine for a scandi version but that's just personal preference.

I'll echo this. I have a saber ground Lumberjack AT (a knife from blind horse, which preceded battle horse) and it batons incredibly well. Mine is in A2 and shaves after processing a ton of wood into kindling.
