The chance, the possibility, the window in time that opens ever so briefly and brings with it the opportunity to become a legend, a hero of sorts, an INFI HOG of mythical proportions is rare indeed. . . . .
That opportunity is coming soon
Know this my friends, generations of yet to be born, yet to be weaned HOGs and piglets will speak of this day in years to come....... They will cast an envious eye on those who fought at the trough in the summer of 2013.
They will, in child-like wonderment, dream of the glory that will never, nay, can never be theirs. They will bow their heads out of respect for the weak and fallen who did not score on that sweltering summer night.
In years to come, when stories are told by the old and weathered veterans around spit laden campfires, by what will most decidedly prove to be the greatest generation of HOGs in the history of Hogdom, there will be hushed whispers heard throughout the crowd when they hear tell of the gore and carnage that was left in the aftermath of this glorious battle.
Know also, that there will be looks of disbelief etched across the faces of an entire generation when they hear of those who chose not to fight on that fateful night. It will matter not what their reasons be, it will only matter that they couldnt, or wouldnt, muster the Porky Mountain oysters necessary to bring their bacon to the battletrough. Their perceived sense of fear or self-preservation will be looked upon with a weary eye and they will most assuredly be labeled as vegan bacon or some other tofu based substitute for real Pork!!!!!!
So, prepare my friends............. and bring a bucket for the chitlins and a cooler for the beer, it promises to be a Ganzaaa of historical proportions.
