Bawanna an wife had an audience with Auntie Yangdu in person.

It truly was a great day. I don't hear very well at all and Auntie is soft spoken, wife had to help me some but I enjoyed every second of that visit and while the wife asked me as we left Reno if I'd go again, I said no without thought. I rethunk that and I will again. For not so short a trip, with more time there and no itinerary so we can relax more.
Next trip it will be Bawanna and wife's turn to do something good for Auntie rather than her doing for us. Maybe dinner someplace so we can sit and talk for days and days.

I'm opposite corner, in Monroe hour or so NE of Seattle. I know a few people in your neck of the woods. One works at Hanford, we meet annually week after next at Curlew Lake up by Republic. I always check to see if he glows in the dark, so far so good.

lol not good to glow in dark :D

The 25" Sirupati I got while visiting Auntie and the 18" Ang Khola I received from her this morning in the mail. What a nice pair.

With my Pen Knife that I did a little para cord wrap on the handle for experiment. I like the added bulk and feel but I'm not done yet. I do love that Pen Knife though. Gonna get with Pugs to build me a nice leather scabbard for that one to start with anyhow.

Tried to capture the fullers on the AK without much success but they are gorgeous.

Incredible experience! Wow, I'm blown away by Auntie's generosity and kindness -- I'm proud we all support such a great business.

I like the beauty of your collection Bawanna. The statement that Himalayan Imports has the best polished on their blades in the World can be said without reservation. That's an extra step that shows.

Excellent! Great stuff. Not here as often as I used to be, but happy to read your story. Best wishes.

Eric

Man im jealous, im glad you got to go out there and especially meeting Auntie. Must have been in Khuk heaven. Some very nice blades you have acquired.

I received the Ballistol and it works great on handle and blade.
Thank you very much for the help and great thoughts, Bawanna

I'm happy that it got there for you Auntie. Hopefully it will help to get some oil on those handles as quickly as you receive them. I think leaving the bucket of water in the storage area hopefully will help some too.

I'm gonna feel badly if the blemish good deals suddenly come to an end, the others here will probably hate me, but I don't mind paying for good stuff and yours is the best without question.

Thanks for sharing the fun visit.
Very nice pics, Bawanna, they show off the beautiful khuks well.

:D

Wow, bawanna, that's pretty amazing, I hope you enjoy your awesome kuk. And Auntie yangdu sounds like a super wonderful person, although I didn't even know that she existed a week a go. I would feel like a prince if I got to meet her and hold all of those wonderfully beautiful knives.
