yeah I think new orleans is a good case study for communities and government even though they were in an especially crappy geographical location, many screw ups at the local level made things much worse -- I am glad when I see the news that I live where I live, as I only feel the way I do because of Tennessee, and guns are a religion here. you are right about conn, I really kinda glazed all that over when reading about it because it was not federal attack on gun rights, was local. I just don't ever see that happening where I live, should have been more specific.
but yeah I am with you man, guns are supremely important to american identity, and our security from government; but this is definitely a world unlike anyone has ever faced, they learned more about genetics in the past 20 years than in the past 20000000 same for most areas of knowledge, so it all pretty much blows me away lol-- my advice is gather as many guns as you can and then lose them on a hunting trip
