BB13 & MOABOLO Initial Comparison

That MOABOLO is such a great design with the Fusion handle; makes the BB13 look like a cheap machete from Walmart. But I can see how the BB13 would be a good performer.
 
Thank you. I always wanted a MOABOLO. I got two BB13s coming so looks like I will be good to go. Had no idea the BB13 was that big. Thanks again, pictures say a thousand words as they say.
 
My Moabolo is thick enough to use as a wedge. Will compare to the cg and bg b13s when they arrive
 
I have to ask what exactly are you doing with that MOABOLO to have the coating on the tip so worn off? :D

Those are awesome comparison shots. I am really looking forward to the CG version. Didn't order the BG version and I have some regrets but if I ordered one or the other I still want the CG most

I'd like to say it's from stabbing it into my chopping block when it's not in use :D

I may be in the minority but I prefer the feel and grip of the resiprene to that of micarta or g10 slabs - I get a better grip and feel less impact during heavy repetitive chopping.
 
I'm interested to hear your impressions after you have used it to chop, and see if they are similar to mine after using my CG version. I wish I had gotten a BG version as well because I think the thinner stock might have a much better balance with the res-c handles.
