BBQ slicer all dressed up

13 inch blade (12 inch of edge) of cpm154 3/32 thick spine at the handle and tapered to the point hand sanded to 600 grit
copper fittings with 5400 year old bog oak spacer and ink line spalted maple burl handle
over all length 18.25 inch
asking 1000$
its not often that i hand sand a larger blade like this (im not a fan of hand sanding and al the extra time it takes to make look right )

had a comp. BBQ guy talk to me the other day about how he wanted it but he woudl only get a few uses out of it a year (he is semi retired form competition ) he ordered a chefs knife that he woudl use day to day
im going to make a belt finished one soon in the same size that will be for sale at a more friendly price
 
Butch - This knife is simply amazing. If I had the cash for the ultimate brisket knife, this would be it!
