BC Coutellerie

Hello everyone,

This is the last folding box I've just finished. It's smaller than usual with a 3” blade. And honestly, without a clip, I think it's the most EDC version I've ever made.

- Steel: RWL34(62HRC)
- Blade : 3" dark stonewash
- Handle : 3.9" in honey micarta and black liner
- Weight : 3.5oz

Please tell me what you think!! 😊

Hello everyone,

Here's the latest prototype I've made of a new drop-point blade model.

For information, it has a 3.5β€œ blade and 4.3” handle.

I need your feedback, whether positive or negative, to make the last modifications to the final model. Please don't hesitate to tell me everything 😊 !

Thanks in advance guys!

Hello everyone,

I'm pleased to present the final version of my new model: the β€œhorizon”.

This model has a drop point blade like the prototype I had already posted, but it will have a front flipper opening. It's available to order in the size and materials you want, and always with the two lock systems I prefer: linerlock or double detent retention system.

The model shown here has an 8cm blade and a 10.5 handle with a pretty yellow poplar burl scales.

Let me know what you think. I hope you'll like it!!

Handsome piece....πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.......Fine job

That's very interesting and makes sense. I am following your work (here and on IG). I would love some different micarta options, and cryo treated steel.

Again, these are really great. Thank you for posting.

I work with rwl34 because, before being a knifemaker, I'm a big collector and I love this steel. For me, it's one of the best ratios for cutting capacity, edge retention and ease of sharpening.

For micarta, I work to order, so anything is possible. I had a lot of customers who loved the honey micarta, so I had to make quite a few with it... πŸ˜€

Thanks again

It's mine, all mine!

Seriously though, Baptiste is super easy to work with- highly recommended.

Hello,

This week I've been working on this new model of my Horizon. The weather was nice, so I wanted to make light colors that are nice for a summer EDC knife.

It's available and I've made a dedicated post in the sales section of the forum if you're interested.
