Hi good people, here's my latest one,it's so fresh it's still bleeding (yeah , i'm a funny guy ,ain't I lol)...anyway,here are the specs: O/A 292mm (11 1/2") fighter, gorgeous Randy Haas feather Damascus,(gold makers mark inlay),full tang, bronze bolsters, liners and pins, Turkish walnut burl slabs, stainless "stitches" ...the hand laced sheath is leather with croc hide, fully lined with kangaroo skin, vertical carry belt loop.It features a recess for the handle and it's "hinged" so it sits in safely without the need for safety strap(it will not come out when upside down) yet allows for quick deployment;)
The knife is pretty sharp and pointy(fully HTed)and it's about as close to double edged it can be without actually being double edged (to keep it legal in most places),but it wouldn't take much at all to put a keen edge on the spine...the blade itself has minimal distal taper,I've kept the ridge pretty much same thickness nearly all the way to keep the piercing tip strong. The balance point is just about where the bolster meets the handle,so a tad bottom heavy, but that's how I like my fighters(imo it sits better in the hand like that) but all in all,it's pretty light, smooth and fast in all positions.
As usual with my knives,it is 100% handmade (using mainly handheld tools),original one-of-a-kind ,with no repeats ,and except for the dama stock, rest of the package sole autor is yours truly ;) It will come with moulded, felt lined case and a COA ..
This piece has tons of character and soul in the hand that I just can't properly capture on camera, and while i have done more elaborate pieces than this in the past, this one is one of my favourite so far...anyway,enough talking lol...(SOLD)
Any questions, or anything at all, pls don't hesitate to shoot me a line on bccustomknives@hotmail.com
Cheers ;)
Brian

Will you be making more knives from this steel in the future? Something in the style or shape of "forgotten" by you in the past like a drop point hunter? Kindest regards, Mike

Well, yeah,I still have some of Randy's dama from the last lot ,but no more of this feather,unfortunately...as far as Forgotten goes, well ,I never make two knives the same ;)

Yes your web page does say you can't reproduce the same exact patterns and that is ok, I was just hoping you would be able to make some type of drop point hunter, perhaps with a wider belly that would work better for skinning etc. and with a pristine handle of some type of beautiful wood that you like. You do such beautiful work it would be an honor to get a useful clean knife from you. So any shape/style you make would be great. Kindest regards, Mike

Sure Mike,i do make ones like you mention from time to time, shoot me an email and i'm sure we'll be able to work something out

Holy flipping....flark!
I'm in total agreement, this is top 3-5 knives I've ever seen in me life! You show some serious artistic skill there my friend.

Edit - DEAR LORD! I just visited your site, and you now own the top dozen knives I've ever seen! Absolutely amazing craftsmanship. Yea, bookmarked.

It's just Amazing to me that somebody can make that pattern by folding steel and mashing it. Also amazing that you can create such a beautiful knife to complement the pattern.

Excellent execution! Integration of the sheath materials and design with the knife is also most excellent!
