BC Man attacked by bear, stabs it in throat with arrow.

I don't doubt that those whom mocked and criticized the hunter would have simply stayed rooted in terror had they been subjected to a bear attack, all the while wishing that someone, anyone, would kill the bear and save them!

Wait till the draft dodging granola eating crowd in Vancouver and Tofino find out.

Save the charging bears!!!!

Skam

can we declare open season on the PEAzombies? PLEASE?

apparently, being in natural surroundings where mammals attack each other is karma. I thought it was nature, but what the hell.

I'm going to get my shotgun and go karma some doves' asses.

I remember a similar incident in CO. The hunter climbed a tree with a grizzly after him.He stabbed and killed the bear with an arrow ! The interesting thing was that at the time it was considered that there were NO grizzles in CO !!

For some reason I picture a Monty Python type argument ensuing:

"There are no grizzlys here."
"Yes there are, look!"
"That one's dead, he doesn't count."

lol... you just can't reason with Sheeple. The lions are moving towards the cities though, soon they will be running through our streets after our cats and dogs because its easier than chasing deer and elk. They are so overwhelmed by the wolf season here... what they don't understand is the wolves are starving due to overpopulation and soon our deer and elk herds will be gone. It's either a select few wolves or all our mid sized game... they just don't get it.

im not really for killing things for fun but if a bear is charging you then i would not be thinking about how to not kill it

Payette, 'moving toward' ? There was a very recent item about a mountain lion found in the city of Seattle !!

I don't have a problem with a hunter killing a bear. That's what hunters do.

I don't have a problem with a bear killing a hunter. That's what bears do.

I don't understand why anyone has an issue with either outcome.
