Hi guys, straight off the bench, OAL 235 mm ,tang through construction, tool steel dama(200 layers O1 and L6) ,ebony, bronze and Australian red mallee burl ,hand carved leather sheath ...as usual as with all my knives, this is 100% handmade and one of a kind, lifetime guarantee, sole author yours truly
When I started making this one,I didn't really have any clear plan or design in mind,it just took shape on it's own...all I knew was that I wanted to make something universal, something that will do the job whether on a hunting trip and skinning the catch,or in the kitchen chopping that bacon...or even in the dark alley if the need arose...this is a serious tool, sitting at around 60-61 HRC,shaving sharp and with that kind of Rockwell it's likely to stay that way lol...will come with (also) handmade wooden case, moulded to fit and felt lined ...and of course, a COA is a "given", as with all of my knives...PS
lease notice that I've left the surface of the countersunk tang screw on the butt plain for now...i'm thinking it would make a lovely place for the new owner's initials...or I can engrave it with some pattern...or leave it plain as is...all that is up in the open, depending on the request ..,first in best dressed gets it
....SOLD
Thanks for looking,
Cheers
Brian
