BCCI 20 Year celebration Post Falls 2008

Larry Oden advised that he would let me know when it gets closer to the time if I wanted to help on the preparations. That makes me think that the specifics haven't been ironed out yet. I'm sure that when the time comes there will be lots of opportunities for input.

I for one will be there! ;)

Thanks for the update Sir!!!!
Should be a great time no matter what is planned! :)

Let's hope it's not a dry county!!! :D

Maybe one of us should call the Chamber of Commerce..."Excuse me, but we're thinking of holding a twenty year celebration in your city...do you allow consumption of alcoholic beverages there???"...

No problem Mr. P.,
I'm hopng the Buck gig will fall on the same weekend as the Art Festival...that's what'll make it a shoe in for me.

I need something lin the form of a sculpture or painting that is matiere or natural towards brown tones, yet not obtuse in being. Perhaps a bistre tone, blending the passion of mineral and vegetable that agglutinates the steel and wood inherent in Buck knives that would add a soft hue next to my display of Bucks.
You guys see Fred and Betty in that avatar. I see Goose and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
.

why my good fellow, i could not have said tit better....
cutting edge style is never obtuse nor is a healthy mix of organic and inorgasmic statements of possale reality and dream scape combanations.
EYE me matie, form doth come after function, but art is the culmation of excitement of the beholder and the held that it fits so well the pourpose to whit it was designed for by thoes masters at buck. :p

Dave, methinks that you and Salvador Dali would have gotten along famously;) :D ;). Preston

Goose also now that I think about it;).

well well guess what guys!?"!?"
as i was kissing the wife good nite i happen to "mention" that a bunch of the guys were planing to go to idaho in 2 years for a big buck knife shindig ...
and that i kinda sorta wanted to go there and meet some of the guys, talk knives an shoot the sheet about guy stuff... did she want to go or should i jest go alone ...
sheeee said " that is a long way to drive think that guy from virginia or some one else close would want to split the drive/gas with you ?"""
yesssss sirrrrr i'm in!!!!
now who is close that wants to go and split ???
no buck mail for me !!! no sir reee!!!
humm i have experance with dry countys it's called palin ahead with cooler...

Hi all; sounds like it would be a great time, i'm in!!! Be glad to help in any way possible. Gods Love and Blessings to all.
Larry <><

I live less than 2 hours away from Post Falls, so I very well could be there.

But it's a Buck Collectors Club 20th anniversary..."You can't win if you don't enter"... :D

Seriously...Join the BCCI and become a part of this historic occasion...

sure would be neet to find out who or how many will try to be there....

I'll bet that they(organizers and Buck) will want to know that also but somewhat closer to the time of the event;).

Dave, the saying "a watched pot never boils" comes to mind. It's a long way off and the more that you talk about it the more I think of it and then time goes by so slowly:grumpy:. (maybe if I had some of your meds:D ;) :D) Preston

i would but they all say it is highly agenst federal law to transfer these meds to any one or to take in a maner other then what the expermantal protocall saids to

besides if i dont take them every thing gets realy realy weard and people look an me verrry strangly and move over in the elavators and such...
some thing about the eyes i guess...
long as i take them every one jest laffs and joke with me...:p
and we have a hay old time like the flintstones!:D
any one seen pebbles? her and i have a date...

sure would be neet to find out who or how many will try to be there....

Hi Crazy Dave & All,

I plan on making the trip. To bad it's not later in the year....like hunting season:D . We could all help Joe get his back yard Elk:p .

You've obviously never been to Idaho.

While on the way to SD, the pre-Mrs and I stopped in Twin Falls.
Checked into the hotel and walked next door to a myskin restaurant.
Had a sign out front "Come in for a margarita!!!"
Well, we ordered chow and drinks...two Corona's and one margarita.
Reply, "you are from out of town, right?".
"How did you know?".
"No hard alcohol on Sunday...only beer and wine".
So, maybe not "dry" but I'm guessing they're called "Blue Laws".
Anyway, it was really the best myskin meal we ever had...and I was drunk for a week in Mexico but this chow was da bomb.

Nope! :D But IIRC, California, Texas, and Pennsylvania (and Ontario, Canada) all had "state-run" liquor stores (and beer & wine there too) rather than in any supermarket/AM-PM gas station like here in New York. ;)

While in Carlisle PA for the annual Import/Kit Car Show, I stay at a Best Western...somehow they get around the local ordinances about selling alcoholic beverages... They even got a nice bar/lounge area for all the lizards...

Moose - What's a "myskin" restaurant???

...
Moose - What's a "myskin" restaurant???

There was this guy at work that said he was going to dress up for halloween as a "myskin dancer". He was an older guy and spoke like Dave types. All kind of looked at him but didn't say anything when he said that.
On halloween he showed up as a "Mexican Dancer"...you know the flashy black and white suit with the glitz sombrero. It was a cool get up.
And he used to ask "Cheat?" as meaing "did ya eat?". So I use that too.
Ever since then I call mexican food "myskin" and "did ya eat" as "cheat". :)

Well, I was referring to the fact that I've never had to worry about finding a drink in Idaho. On the other hand they do tend to take their religion seriously...well, at least on Sunday. :o

P.S. I had to change my avatar when you put up that chick with the very broad posterior. Salma Hayek is the one that rings my bell. ;)
