Exactly.I got my life membership in 2005.Number 1119.Then I bought a friend of mine a membership in 2004.Number 12XX.Which he let expire and didn't purchase a life membership until maybe 2007.But recieved number 88X.
So, go figure? But the members are happy and bean counters as well.DM
 
I really think that these knives are sent out in the order in which payment was received rather than by BCCI number.
 
Until about 2 years ago, give or take, we recycled numbers. The thought was to fill in the blanks when annual members didn't renew after a set length of time. Through trial and error though, we found it much easier to simply move on down the line with membership numbers.
