BCCI March 2013, paper version arrived with 2013 Dealer's Catalog, oh boy!

sniparoo Oregon, I like the early Odyssey laying beside the recent Buck catalog. DM

I admire the degree of discipline you exercise. I don't know how I could have parted with this vintage gem if our positions were reversed. I cannot thank you enough for your unrestrained generosity. This may very well be the high point of my participation in this hobby as I don't have a clue how it could get any better.

You have a good eye and terrific taste in cutlery sitflyer. That excellent 182 from 1998 is courtesy of the erudite, gentleman/rancher who can hold an adult coyote off the ground at arm's length with one hand and the man who gives new meaning to the word "generous" David Martin (AKA Desert Dave) who I hope lives for a thousand years. Thank you kindly David. You are all right.

Neat looking Buck 182. Looks like some of my Syderco knives. Both companies make nice stuff.

Thank you. Good guys are of much value here. Other members have been nice to me as well. DM

Page 45 of the dealer catalog shows all of the Spitfires, 722, including the "added color pop in spine of each knife." The green-handled one has orange spacer aft of the lock release and the orange one has gray and lastly the gray one has orange.

[These cool folders make me hope that Joe Houser brings some of these beauties with him from Post Falls next weekend to OKCA. :)

AW, I've joined OKCA, finally, so I can gain entry into the, formerly off-limits, Friday set-up and members-only day. Now to see if I can get away from work then. In the five consecutive years I've attended only Sunday, the last day of the show with cut prices and already sold stuff missing from tables, because it was the only day I could get away without serious guilt over other obligations. Maybe this year. Maybe. I should receive my credentials/ID this week. The family plan was $25 and you get the newsletter + free access to both shows (mini-winter and maxi-tax day shows). On Sunday the shoppers seem desperate. If you think you want to buy something and pick it up then don't put it down as someone will dart in and grab it and buy it. You gotta keep a good hold on the prime candidates because on Sunday the best stuff is mostly gone baby gone.

I will most likely go Saturday.

Best of luck on Saturday. The show should be real treasure chest for you since it is the first day open to the public and goods are fully stocked by vendors. Have a ball the list of vendors and a map of the hall are both available on the OKCA site so you can make a hit list for yourself. I have mine ready with 5 must-visit-first tables marked out.

BTW, I received my OKCA ID in the mail today so I am good to go (in plastic and one for each family member (under one roof rule) and has their name on it)! An efficient membership operation they have going. I hope to be a good member and look forward to the newsletters during the year.

The Buck and Spyderco booths will be my first two stops.

My list of gotta visit first tables: 1. M4 Buck (Joe Houser) table 2. E9 Leroy Remer 3. K9 Vallotton 4. N10 Wayne Goddard 5. U12 BCCI

Just read the current OKCA newsletter and Joe Houser will be displaying his Buck Lucite-handled knife collection at the BCCI table U12 where you will find Bruce Dollinger and a display of the Master series of knives.
