Hi Porter,

Welcome to the club. Be sure to check out the BCCI web site!

You can go directly to Lan-Cay's website at lancay.com and try to buy from them directly...You can also try a seller by the name of unnaturalone on ebay...

Just a note to others who may have been interested in the M11 EOD conversion of the M9 bayonet - LanCay does not respond to emails; Quarterbore's Forum will not post my thread/question about them (and their search does not allow "EOD" or "M11" in Search queries); and I can't seem to get a response to Search for "unnaturalone" on eBay... :(

Yes, I know...this sounds like a personal problem... :D

Sounds like you're just having a bad day. Call Lan-Cay, they're very nice people. If they can't (or won't) help you they will at least point you in the right direction. Don't know what happened to unnaturalone. He still has an active user name on ebay with over 5000 feedback but doesn't seem to have had any postings or transactions within the past 15 days. Maybe he's on vacation.

I'm a moderator at the QB site but that doesn't mean that I know all the ins and outs of the software. I don't know why your initial post didn't show, I can see it but it is on a moderated page. Maybe because you just joined the forum. In any case, your post this morning is up and I'd suggest you post your question again. Hope this helps.

Bill -

Thanks for the replies, here and there! :D

I'll probably just make my own conversion. I'm doing a set of Colt 601 grips for a "retro" M7 bayonet; an M9/M11 guard and pommel isn't all that difficult... ;)

Sunday night - I just got an email from Barry at LanCay; didn't really answer my questions, but I requested more info...and DarrylS gave me the eBay Profile address of unnaturalone so I sent him an email, too...

And I finally found a way to search the Quarterbore site for short words: it's called a Google Site Search, and works like this -

Go to Google, and enter -

site:bladeforums.com "Linking Counterfeit Buck Auctions" to find an exact thread title, or -

site:bladeforums.com Buck 55 stag to find all references to Buck 55 stags

Some if not all of you may already know this, but it's new to me...and beats the Forum Search engines all to hell...:thumbup:
