BCCI shokwwod 117, what do you think of it…

Well, I've decided shokwood is not for me. I've only ever seen a couple of examples that I thought were just ok. But that is me, enjoy if you love it.

Thoughts - weird (different) guard. Don't like the double spacer at the pommel. Handle could be ok depending on your hand size.

For the price - why not a 117 sheath ?

It came with a 102 sheath that doesn't fit the knife very good at all. I assume that most BCCI Annual knives will be displayed only so the sheath may not matter to most members. I see where my March 2021 BOTM has a 2021 blade and my 2021 BCCI Shokwood knife has a 2020 blade perhaps Buck is using up 117 inventory and they are out of 117 sheaths.
 
it appears about in between a 117 and 102. doesn't look bad...just preferred it had been a 117.....it is unique and gonna be rare since if im seeing he comparison right....it not a 102 and not really a 117 either size wise.
 
I wonder how that 212 sheath would work.

Those are good looking knives.
