Anyone know who makes the damascus used in the collector's club Vantage pictured in the newsletter? Thanks.

I definitely do not know. But the way the pattern is alternating from loose concentric circles to tight concentric circles with a thicker lighter center circle, it looks very much like Devin Thomas raindrop pattern: http://www.devinthomas.com/

I guess i wouldn't expect Damasteel on a Buck, because it is imported. Is Devin Thomas not premium? I thought CRK used their steel on damascus knives.

Devin Thomas sounds premium! But we don't know if that's what they're using.

This years 907 Expert Hunter and the 346 Ivory Vantage both have Damasteel blades.

Interesting, i recall sk knives mention Buck wouldn't do m390 because it's not a US steel, which is why it ended up being in 20cv.
