BCCIs For Sale??????

Its my favorite of ALL the 110s too !!! ....Love that bald head the most.

And the red trim.... and the chipped flint blade.... and the Nickel silver...and the polished buffalo handles...and...and...

:D

By the way.... Do we have a total yet on number made ??? And have they all been shipped? This one in my humble newbies opinion this will be the most coveted BCCI ever....

now what skellations does they have a hanging in de closit? :D

LOL Why so cheap Gooser? Thanks for helping a brother out ;) LOL LOL

But since Jim wants one, I have sent him an e-mail offerring to sell him my one with more "character" (swirls and a white mark that looks like a chip in the scale) for $300.00.

They go about $340 on the upperside, 'Goose. Sure ya' only want 3? ;^)

Well Jim and gd526...
I was thinking it was on the low side too. But, afterall, WH4F is a brother and deserves a break.
PLUS, remember, I stated that the spare I had was to be a user. And it has been. After I looked at it closer, I could see that I already scratched the bolster. And the thing is as sharp as my NIP 1095 Camilus Jet Pilot knife (meaning; "not sharp"). My thoughts are that these are more for "show" than "go".
So, I figured $300 was the highest I could go and still be able to sleep at night.

Note: pics are intentionally over-exposed. This was the best setting to get the "character" swirls to show...
Click the pic:

That “square” white mark near the bolster is not a chip. Some of that milky swirl.

Well guys, 2 sides to every coin, and this is just 2 cents hittin the floor. I can appreciate members being upset, if they didn't get a knife they wanted. Especially, when said desired knife, is being re-sold at a premium price on ebay.
Everyone has to bear in mind that these are BCCI fundraiser knives. The Club designs and purchases these knives from Buck at a discount, to raise funds to help off set the operating expenses & costs of the BCCI. This helps keep Club membership fees low, amoung other benefits to its members.
I know the Club had 532s fundraisers for sale for quite a while, before they all sold. What if the Club had produced 500 of the Buffalo Chipflints, and 375 sold quick. The Club can't afford to take the next 4 or 5 years to sell the remaining 125, and still operate efficiently.
The annual Club knife, with the BCCI etch and numbered, is guaranteed to every member wishing to purchase one, but only one.

Again, I am not upset, just helping with both sides of the coin!

I dont see how the BCCI could sell knives anyway if they said they couldnt be sold, once someone gives something in exchange for an item, its theirs.

well i said i did not mind the club member that buys two and then sells one .
and i truly dont...

some times it gets to me i guess when i see some thing sell for so much more...
remember there is not any sure thing on reselling a knife...
it is only worth what some one will pay for it...and that saying a fool and ...
most knives will never sell for what they sold for at issue..
the bennie of the club is that we can normanly buy one for what a typical knive woud resell for.later..
if there were 30 of these knives to hit the market on bay the last would suffer ..
it is only that the first few that will bring over what was paid any way..
and yes there are thoes that have no issue with selling the 2e one they bought..
i dont buy one to do so .. as i said it does not set right with me for to do it my self,..
all i can answer for is that if i bought two and had to sell one for a reason i would want what i could get for it...
as haveing been there i know some times you need every thing you can get...
so ... it is a mater of money some times in others eyes with
the guy that takes chances and has the money to do so...
a dealer...
well the man that brings us the club knives is our best friend and also a dealer ...
we all have our supplyer!!! some get our buck fix in one way, some other ways, some not at all..

like i said i have thus far resisted selling any of my 110's but if i had to i would want what i could get...
i am selling or have sold my 112's so am i a dealer? ...
i guess i spoke maybe a tad harshly...
so i recant some what after more thought on this ......
i of all people should not judge others... list i be judged...

The matching 112s will be offered in our December newsletter. However, we don't expect Buck to deliver them to us until March. Allowing a little wiggle room, club members can expect shipment in April.

it is my belife that this may be the first time the club has had a sell out so quickly!!!
but i understand the club's best seller has always been the 110.. or am i missing some thing here...

Thanks John, I had better start saving now ;)
These will be nice! I am extremely excited to see these!

There will only be 150 of the 112s. They don't sell quite as well as the 110s, so we make adjustments. TinSue had emailed me asking if orders were taken via email. Orders are only taken through the US mail using the order form in the newsletter. Emails can be used to check on availability though.

We'll also be offering a 120 General with a stacked lucite handle featuring the 20 year anniversary logo. This one will be offered in the March newsletter with delivery expected in late May.
