I've a few HT 2.5 validation(thus low prices) knives available for grab...
Here is a 25 minutes video explains why I tempered these knives to retain very high hardness. Also show a way to lower hrc by 0.5 to 1.5rc if/when wanted.

These knives have slicer edge geometry, so use accordingly.
