I realize this is probably a question for another forum, but how do you get your pictures to come out so well? I know my biggest problem is lighting. You probably know the usual problems. To dark or yellow with flourscent (sp?) light, to shadowed with bulbs, to much glare with the flash. The closest I've gotten is outdoor shots using natural light.
What does your photo equipment consist of? Any other tips?
I wish I could answer you but I don't know! The pics on the grey background were taken by Neil Ostroff of True North Knives (he picked up the knife for me at Blade) and the pics on the coloured backgrounds were taken by my knifecollector/photographer friend Murray White. I do know that Murray used a Nikon Coolpix 995 and professional photography reflectors.
Hey Mr. RL,
Great hearing from you. Glad you are happy with the tool!
I met Mr. Neil at the show and hope to get some good things going with him very soon. Please pass on my regards if you see him again.
We are proud of our dive tool and it has a lot of T&E behind it. Let us know what you think.
All the best,
Duane Dwyer
Very observative!
We never standardized the tip prior to apx NOV 2001.
Now we have settled on the geometry of the blade that you have and will continue them in this fashion.
I know this is not the high tech answer you probably hoped for, just the plain boring truth.
All the best,
Duane Dwyer
First of all, awesome pics! I have never dived in my life, but the Strider looks liek it sure would come in handy!
Duane, I was wondering why the top of the "tip" is pointy (90 degree point, anyways) whiel there is an angled cutout at the bottom of the "tip". Why is that?
