Kershaw 1635:
great size, great clip, assisted opening very nice. Decently holds an edge. But upon closure the assist function had begun to snap loose. Have to reopen and reset the on/off slider.
Sidekick:
My current EDC. One handed blade opening. Great belt clip. All the other little tools. But the pliers kind of suck. They have a spring setup that keeps them open. I thought it would be ok but I hate it lol.
I may replace this with a skeletool.
Juice KF4:
Great size and variety of tools. This has saw, metal, smooth blade and serrated blade, quite the mix. Yet no clip and no can opener lol.
Kick:
A bit simple and light on tools. Not sure why I even have it lol. Lasted about a week. It's been sitting at the bottom of a backpack. The can opener is very nearly ONLY a can opener. It would only work with the shortest bottle caps.
Spyderco Meerkat:
You just love flicking it lol. Great clip. Fits great in the hand but the blade is about 0.5in too short. Like all Spyderco's I've had it doesn't hold an edge very long.
Swiss Army Tinker:
Had it for years. I've considered taking the Meerkat clip and tapping one of the scales lol. Just the right set of goodies. Holds an edge very well and it seems to only need 2-3 swipes to sharpen right back up.
Super Tinker:
Only because I thought I had lost the Tinker lol.
Classic SD:
Long time on the key chain. But once that TSA crap started I've taken it off. I haven't put anything back on the keychain as of yet.
L1P flashlight:
Comes with a belt sheath and I carried it for years. But for some reason I've gotten away from it. Probably because it has just the one setting.
Maratac AAA:
Very cool. Unlike the L1P it'll take lithium batteries without potential damage. Two settings of just the right level. Great little spring clip. The knurling is tough but also pretty aggressive. I may just wrap it with some gaffer tape and start carrying more often.
Gerber Compact Fixed Blade:
Obviously the Bear Grylls edition but the size, full tang and blade shape were just right. The sheath should work out nicely as we'll. And in the end it's a Gerber.
This is actually for flying duty (general aviation, not TSA hamstrung commercial flying) and intended more as a prying/crowbar type tool if necessary.
NOT SHOWN:
BG Paracord knife:
Same size and blade profile as the other Gerber, but full smooth edge has now found its way to me. I removed the 4ft of 550 Paracord and replaced it with 10ft of 3/32 tether cord. Much better sheath than the other Gerber.
Swiss Army Workchamp:
Just the right set of tools. A bit large on the belt using the sheath so it's not currently an EDC. I don't recall the last time I used the pliers on my Sidekick so I was happy with the pliers option on the Workchamp. Love the saw of course.
Swiss Army Bantam:
Still on the way but I'm going to make this my pocket EDC over the backpocket clipped Sidekick. I had thought perhaps a Skeletool, and may still consider it, since, like the Sidekick, it has a pocket clip. We'll see how the Bantam works out.
Maratac AA light:
Genuine over 200hr low light mode on a single Lithium AA. Great size, great clip, great lanyard connection.
