First off this isn’t my way (saying negative stuff on the Internet) and I am very aware it has been said before:
Be very careful with Rich Derespina, his word and timelines mean nothing.
I know (from hearing it from him) that he has some health issues and likely some other life issues so I temper my message with that.
I will say his product is absolutely fantastic, his karambits are amazing and his work is great.
When you will get what you paid for, and what it will actually be, are totally up in the air. All his knives are cool but many ppl, myself included, have received vastly different knives then ordered and years (yes multiple years) outside of stated deadlines. Even times when he has knives listed as done or available will not be sent as promised. Communication will be reasonable until he has been paid then will cease.
Ultimately I would say if you have a chance to buy his knives from another dealer do it, but don’t deal with the man directly. I am 3 years into a wait that was supposed to be a couple months for a model 13 in Damascus.
That’s all, it’s been said before but I needed to say it here to make sure everyone who might have not seen this notice has seen it. Back thread check if you have the time to read the old threads, same message.
