Be honest: How many of you use your knife to...

Coffee is acidic, and instant coffee is just dehydrated coffee "crystals".
It'd make sense that the coffee developed a patina in you blade, as it's like opening a mustard packet with a knife...... Maybe not as severe, but similar.

99 % of the time use knife in pocket, occasionally on the other 1 % when I feel like testing weather it is time for me to start wearing dentures put my teeth through a workout:D Habit i surpose before started seriously carrying a knife. All the best Faron.

I always use my knife to open packages. The best is when you are in stores and sales clerks are trying to open those annoying clam shells with their safety knife that is dull. I love asking if they need some help, which is invariably answered with "NO, I got this." Minutes later, the package is still closed. I love pulling out a Peanut and opening the package lickity-split.

My wife even comes up with ways to use my knives. She even tells people at work "My husband would just open that with his knife instead of spaying his candy all over the room."

I'll try once to open something. If I can't, out comes the knife.

Always a knife. Why would I make barbaric tears on anything, if instead I can make a nice, straight and clean cut.

Yep, something new might get a chance unless it's a blister pack then people are lucky I don't carry a damn chainsaw!

i use mine all the time to open stuff. cuts are much cleaner than tearing anything.

I get creative and I use my knife for anything that you could possibly think of. I used it as an ice pick the other day and i have used it to scrape paint off a wall before XD
