Do they both have asymetrical edges? For that matter... were most, if not all, of the Ergo line asymentrical??? :confused:

Most Ergos were assymetrical as I understand it.

Both these SH-E's are.

I'd love to know what you think of the asymetrical versus V grind (or convex). I have a HOGFSH w/ asymetrical edge... haven't tried it yet... just looking for some perspective and comparisons. :)
 
I like it. Pretty easy to maintain, and "bites" nicely into wood. My SHBM has the asymetrical edge, as does my Basic 9. Both rock!

Very nice.
Mine used to look like that.
polished spine, asymmetrical edge.
Being left-handed, I had to put a V-edge on it,
and when the coating was mostly gone, I did some polishing on it.
