Hello again,
Since the Hurricane is coming into North Carolina and I have the day off I decided to finish this blade. The rain prevents me from making damascus so I had to do something....
This is a forged blade that has been heat treated (quenched) twice. The blade is a straight flat ground 1084 tool steel. The blade has a sweet distal taper and has been glass bead blasted.
The handle is a stabilized zebrawood that is supported by three 1/4" brass pins. The handle has a nice taper for fitting the hand. The measurements are as follows:
Overall: 7 7/8"
Cutting: 4"
Thick: 1/8"
Widest: 1 1/8"
This knife comes with a right or left sheath, your choice.
