Hey knife people! I have a sweet bnt type with scales that were part of a cutting board from our family kitchen in the late 1950's. Well cured wood! The 8670 blade is flat ground with a wee bit of trailing point and has a 45 micron belt finish. Heat treatment was done by the Paul Bos folks. It has a kydex sheath with an attachment offset perfect for your favorite clip, though a belt clip is provided. The sheath has a super "click in and out" retention. Domestic shipping is included as well. I hope this one will be someone's longtime companion and hiking buddy.
OAL 7"
Blade 3 1/4"
My email address is goslaughter@outlook.com. As usual the first "I'll take it" gets it. Questions and comments are welcome. Warranty is simple. If the knife fails in normal use, I will repair or replace it. Thank you for looking at my work. I truly am enjoying it!
The price is now $100! PayPal uses my email address. If PayPal is not for you, just contact me and we'll work out something.IMG_20220615_053116_785.jpgIMG_20220615_053059_537.jpgIMG_20220615_052947_112.jpgIMG_20220615_053210_976.jpgIMG_20220615_053233_413.jpgIMG_20220615_054302_567.jpgIMG_20220615_053020_366.jpg

Looks like a comfortable handle, good job. I like oak scales (looks like oak?) I wish more people used them.
8670 is a Great, tough steel.... Good to know Bos treats them, idk he could. :D

That knife is going to make someone really happy!

I have been told it is white oak. The gentleman who said that knows way more than I, so, white oak is my story and I'm going with it. I always stand open to more knowledgeable opinions, however! Thanks for your kind words Mr. Brewer. 8670 is my favorite of the classic high carbon knife steels of the three I have used so far.
