I just recieved my Bear Claw [Thanks John]and it is a sweet little knife.I have attacked the sheath with a Dremel and have removed the bead blast, now I was wondering what else to do .What have you done to improve your Bear Claw?

After I carried as a neck-knife for a day of biking, it was rusting. I took it apart and mirror polished all surfaces. Just recently I've been working on the spine, adding filework to add traction.

do a search for just this, if you haven't already. I believe it was Sergiusz that did quite extensive modding on a bear claw.

I should have mentioned that I have been searching for the last 3 weeks while waiting for the knife to arrive.some great stuff but the posts are quite old and images are not always there.I was also hoping to attract some new responses. But if any of the guys like Serguiz who made earlier posts would like to comment or repost images i would really appriciate it.

Bigbore 45;WOW that is sure different ;not quite what i had in mind though:) .So far i have removed the cursed beadblasting and modified the sheath to horizontal carry over my appendix.I cut away the sheath to allow for a full grip and this way when i draw it comes out in reverse grip;ready to go.BTW what is the blade finish on your claw.
Cheers

Hi compost
I´m not sure i can call it a finish ;)
I started with a dremel and an idea of some perfect juelling(spell)

Think you would call it "random scratches" :p

The blue colour comes from nailpaint (my doughters idea),
she also found the stars after carneval on a street.

After all the whole grip was sealed with epoxy.

BTW: I got the tip not to call it Bearclaw any more,
but "BarbieClaw" .
