Bear Grylls Scout

My 2 cents: I absolutely detest both Gerber and Bear Grylls. I'll admit that they do make a perfect partnership though, since they are both frauds. Yeah I know it seems harsh and I mean no offense to the Gerber/Grylls buyers out there. Really, to each his own and if you like em then more power to ya. Its just that I'd sooner set my head on fire than buy into the biggest marketing farce in the knife industry. If that makes me some kind of "hater" than so be it.

Sorry bro gerber for the most part equals crap that won't stay sharp I got a lmf fixed its not bad but folders no way

Thanks for all of your opinions. Especially the only two posts from those who have actually used the knife in question.
But, I did get a laugh out of the "Gerber knives suck though I don't have any real evidence to base it on 'cause I never actually used one" posts.

I didn't see any posts like that. I did see several users who were not too impressed, however.

Dude, I was using Gerber long before they even sold out to Fiskars and outsourced 95% of their production facilities to China. Gerber was once a great American brand and a household name. That, of course, is the scam: instead of living up to that name and selling quality product they make cheap crap and stamp Gerber on it so people who don't know any better can think they are getting a solid knife. All they are selling is the name, that's it. Selling a product based entirely on the ignorance of the people you are marketing to is pretty freakin sleazy imo. Naturally, Gerber is one of many, many companies guilty of this but that doesn't make it ok.

But you're right, I havent used that particular Gerber/Grylls knife. As I already said, if you like the knife then get it and I truly hope you enjoy it. Take that sucker out, get some dirt on it, and have fun. We always love pics here on BF btw... :)
