I wouldn't pay it but I don't think it is disproportionate to what others charge. Do any of you remember the thread with comment on how much Mears was wanting as a fee to show up in Canada? I've seen reports of jumped-up self publicists wanting £300 for 6hrs tuition for which they didn't get to learn anything special at all. If people here were really interested in survival they'd ditch the neo-bushcraft crap and take advanced first aid courses, or evasive driving, get qualified by the Mountain Leader Training Board, mebe learn to box so it hurts when they hit and gets 'em fit, that kind of stuff. They don't. They sit about on chairs in the woods under gimpy leather biker chick hats from the 1980s and feed each others delusions of adventure. If it is quite acceptable to have fun as sufficient incentive to buy an overpriced blade or sword to run around the woods with then the same applies here. If I want to hire a helicopter for a day and pretend to be Howling Mad Murdock dodging fire over a sleepy village in Sussex it's going to cost me more than that. When your players are stupid make a game that fits them. They deserve nothing less.
