I have been working on a series of knives with animal themes. I tried the wolf, where the tail is the blade. I have a woman's humming bird where the beak is the blade. I try to design them so they feel good in the hand and are functional. All are made one at a time completely hand done not even a pattern, each hand drawn hand cut. So you end up with a very one of a kind original. I have been forging copper into the steel, but this is another method where I drill holes, and hammer copper into the holes during heat treat so copper welds into the hole. Then use this as the center of flowers when acid etching. Always moving on to new ideas. Hope you like this one.
