Bearded Viking style axe

No apologies needed this is how we learn. There are many styles and forging techniques that went into manufacturing the originals. You would be hard pressed to find originals that where made the same. What I do know is mine is definitely a fighting ax while it could be used for other things because of the relatively light weight. Which makes it fast and easy to swing..

Awesome I love it, though I checked the web page and I don't see the one like yours, is yours mod'ed ? If not which model is it?

The smaller Mammen style Viking axe, they made from my specs, which I in turn drafted out on paper - to scale - based on the original. It's a true to-size copy of the original
down to the last millimeter, although of course it doesn't have the fancy silver and gold inlays seen on the original. It's light, fast, and nimble, and throws beautifully.

The big one they made for me based on one they made for someone else. I saw it on their Facebook page and requested a version with a shorter 25" haft. This is a serious
battle axe. There's no fancy moves or finesse involved; it just destroys anything it hits.

It takes a pillage.
