bearing steel

Which one ? There are many. There own bearings are made from carburizing grades such as 4620, 4320 .These are not suitable for blades . They do make other steels for other bearing makers such as the 52100 group and these make good blades.
 
i was told by the bearing sales rep. that the bearings i use are in the 5100 steel groupe. but if i remember correctly the 5100 may have ben skf bearings
