I've been noticing alot of pivot bearing questions latley, I guess my question is do you run you're bearings wet or dry, I've heard dry so I tried it in my 0560 and hated it, so I put a little drop of nano lube in it. Does it matter one way or the other?

Hey there, I'm a machinist and running contact areas dry causes wear though wet does collect dirt. So some us have found Sentry Solutions Marine Tuf Glide and bingo. It dries to a dry/waxy film and is a superior lubricant and rust/corrosion preventer. I have a PM 2 and that is one smooth pivot. I added the Tuf Glide and man it feels like ball bearings! Put it on the lock surfaces to so they won't wear.

Enjoy and tell us what you think.

Let soak in breakfree clp for a few minutes, then blow dry with compressed air.
This is how I get maximum distance from all my bait casters.
