I have only seen one bear in the wild before and it was one of the highlights of my life, I have always been crazy about any wildlife but bears are right up there among my favourites !!!! Thanks for showing the pics !!!!!!!
 
Thanks for all the good comments guys. I live in the North Carolina mountains and am lucky enough to see bears several times each year. They don't always hold still for the camera though.

That's a good question, where is their mother? She is probably not to far away from the cubs.
 
I did see the mother or at least a larger bear. She was a little ways ahead of the cubs. I tried a couple of pictures but she was behind so much brush that they were no good.

Awesome pictures. Makes me miss northern Minnesota where I used to live and see Black Bear on a fairly regular basis on my property. Tho' I am a hunter, I could not shoot one of these magnificent animals
