This knife may not be so new to some of you since I think a picture of it was posted about a month ago when I was gone. I got off a plane today and upon arriving home a package was waiting for me from JK Knives. John made this Keppy to my specs. Can't wait to use it!

Straight Back Kephart

Blade Length-4" convex
Steel-01
3/32" Thick
Handle Material-Walnut tapered scales for thumb
Regular handle size-2 Solid Big pins and 1 Lanyard Hole
Overall is about 8 1/2"

I really like straight backs for batoning and I think the sweeping blade gives some nice curly pig things for fire!

Looks good! I'm glad to see you back on here. We need to chat soon about lightweight gear. (thread drift over).

I was never going anywhere just short on time these days and finishing up some articles. Give me a call Steve, it's been too long.

For anyone who ever thought 3/32-inch thick knives are not good for wood splitting!
