Is anybody going to ask Reuben why,on page 70 of Tactical knives, he is trying to slice the nipple off that poor little Indian?;)

Just thumbed through the recent TK and noticed that pic too, lol. Cool to see our resident rock stars popping up in TK a lot lately.

the last time i spoke to him... he mentioned something about that article and how he was going to be in it...:o crazy dude, hanging in the jungle.. it was a great article i thought...

JOEZILLA is rocking in this issue as well.. way to go joe.. keep them coming dude...

all in all i thought it was a great issue... sometimes TK can be hit or miss for me..

Is that from the article testing the Sog, Blade-tech, etc? Which one won? I didn't see a clear conclusion, other than that, for instance, the Sog wasn't ideal, because it was a Tanto...

I like TK but IMO you are not likely to hear much negative about any knife on there if it's one featured in an article.

In a lot of ways I think the net is a better place than magazines to get a full picture of a product. Of course you have to take any info with a grain of salt since anyone can post but overall I think the variety of viewpoints and the more uncensored opinions lie on the net.

I dont think it was as much of a shootout type thing as much as a review of some differant blade options.

As for Ruben.....He eats bugs so........Go figure.:D

Joe is repre-freakin-senting in that issue. His Spyderco article on the H1 blades was awesome, and man, now I want a freakin pro-soldier!!!!!:o

Gossman is even reprsented in there:thumbup:

A good month for sure!!

I couldn't agree more. I really wish they'd be more critical than they are. See their writeup on the Meyerco X-Ray autos... Their review glowed, but the actual knife was so poor that when BladeHQ (for instance) got ahold of them, finally, they had to cancel and refund all pre-orders because Cam just wouldn't sell a knife of that poor build quality, at that price.

I just asked about the outcome of those tests, because in the initial headline, they say something like "Guess who won?", while the article doesn't really point to a winner.

Anyway, thank goodness for the BFC community, and other online sources of knife info.
