Whats everyone's fixed blade beater/user and folding beater/user?

Mines my vaquero grande and kabar warthog

Swamp Rat Camp Tramp and Swamp Rat Howling Rat.

They're both scarred, ugly and beat up... except for the edge, which is in perfect shape. They both kick ass IMO.

Swamp Rat Battle Rat (large fixed) and Busse Active Duty (small fixed)

Swamp Rat Rat Trap (large folder) and Spyderco Native (small folder)

Any task that I fear using my "nice" knives for is tackled by one of my pukkos, moras or SWAKs. Those poor knives have worked their asses off since I bought them.

I switch my folder EDCs so often that I don't really have on that I preffer for heavy work, although my Buck 110 (with S30V blade), my Spyderco Paramilitary and EKA folder seem to work harder than my other folders. Alox SAKs see their fair share of abuse, too.

Fixed blade:Swedish Mora
Locking Folder:Benchmade Pika
Slipjoint:Craftsman/Camillus Stockman

Fixed-blade: Ontario 12" machete. But I hardly ever use it.

Folder: Spyderco plain-edge Military.

It depends on which type of "beater work" for me :D If I'm doing yard work, usually my Gerber EZ-Out or Gator, sometimes my Buck 112. If I'm doing any sort of digging, like dandelions, thistles, weeds, I have an 01 fixed blade that I made, but screwed up the handle a bit, that gets terrorized a lot - my wife loves using it as well. I have an Emerson clone from Maxam that gets epoxy scraping duties. My Leatherman PST also sees a lot of duty. One of my lastest acquisitions, a Buck/Strider 887SBT Police Advocate is starting to get a bit of yard duty - I was attaching an old garden hose to a rain barrel and had to cut the hose to size (it was good test for that serrated edge) and it went thru it without even blinking. I was actually expecting a bit of resistance with how thick the blade was, but it fared fine.

fixed blade: becker brute
folder: M16-14Z, or this huge old spanish lockback that never gets carried because it weighs like 3 lbs.

Fixed blade: Cold Steel Recon Scout (the only fixed blade I own  )

Folder: Victorinox Soldier SAK

My only using knife at this time is an AG Russell Hunters Scalpel. So I guess that makes it my favorite. It's a great little knife for hiking or backpacking, the only times I really carry a knife.

My normal beater is a Sebenza, unless I have something really terrifyingly abusive to do, and then I use a Benchmade 705 or a Victorinox Pioneer. All three soak up the abuse like nobody's business.

I keep a Wegner SAK in my RF pocket that gets to pull staples and other cruddy jobs. At home it's an old Pilot Survival Knife. She's not pretty but she's not shy either.

Currently my Battle Rat, Spyderco Endura
My 27" Blade Collins Machete is much more beat on, but it has been benched for modifications and new handle scales.

My fixed blade beater is a Becker BK-9 - it was ugly to begin with, and I have no compunctions about subjecting it to hard use.

My folding bearer is a Buck Alpha Hunter - I consider this to be one of the toughest folding knives I've ever handled. I was relatively 'gentle' with it until I accidentally broke off the very tip (just a small bit); after that I threw caution to the wind and as a result this knife has been battered and smashed consistently.
