Beatles or the Stones?

When I first and saw/heard The Beatles, I thought this Band was Coolest thing to listen to in Groundhogville back in the day. (just North of Bastidville :D)

The older I got the more I listened to the Stones.

I think the Stones are the grandest band to ever grace the planet!
The Beatles were amazing and I love lots of their tunes but they broke up eons ago! If they hadn't come apart when they did, do you seriously think they would have been able to change with the times like the Stones did and keep putting out hit after hit?

I have that Stones double CD of their top forty songs. They should have stopped at twenty. The Beatles could easily put out an eighty song collection.

The Beatles have a few good songs but not as many as the Stones IMO
I think the Beatles are wayyyy overrated
 
I love the Stones but the Beatles are even better. By a lot. They revolutionized modern rock and many of their songs are so unique they will never be marginalized. One of my favorites is "Get back".
 
STONES for sure!!! I like the beatles too, when they were on DRUGS. Their early boy band pop shit , and their late hippie save the world stuff is overrated. Its still better than most music as a whole BUT, the ROLLING STONES have better songs and more of them. The stones have some of the BEST rock/slow/blues songs ever made!!! The stones have always been the same throughout making great music. The beatles have changed starting as pop boy band/hard drugs/hippie save the world shit.
 
Different types of bands, kind of comparing apples & oranges.

I like the Stones, but if I my choice was to have only the Beatles or the Stones catalog to forever, I'd have to go with the Beatles. More range, more diversity.

Both were very good.
