Beaumont 9" disk grinder

I was looking at the 9" disk grinder with the variable speed on Beaumont's site, and wanted to ask the guys that have one how do you like it and what all do you use it for? Do you have the horizantal or vertical?

Definately a nice machine. Rob sells just the 9" disc and you could make your own. I would like to get one also and will set it up vertical.

I don't have one of Rob's but, a variable speed disk is a great tool. Jim

I had one horizontal for awhile now they're all vertical, 2 of them reversing and
one variable reversing, the other two are straight speed one at 800rpm's, the other
at 1725rpm's you can't have too many grinders.

I have 2, both vert and both VS and reversing. One is DC and one is VFD controlled. For most of my work I use the VFD. The DC unit is for quick touch-ups in my finishing shop.
