All of my 4V knives up until now have been different style test knives. This is the first one I have finished and never used. This is also my debut of carbon fiber pins and tubes.

In case you are wondering about 4V, it has comparable toughness to CPM 3V but with much increased wear resistance (think the perfect child between M4 and 3V). The steel is designed to be run in the 62-64 Rc range and maintain the toughness and wear resistance that you would normally lose at the higher Rockwell.

Specs:
.145" CPM 4V at 62-63 Rc by Peters'
9" OAL
4.375" tip to scales
1.3" wide
High flat sabre grind in a spear point pattern
Myrtle wood scales, treated with Boiled Linseed Oil
Black G10 liners
Carbon fiber pins and tubes
Will come with a hand sewn leather sheath

Asking $ SOLD

Price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail to all 50 states with delivery confirmation, others can contact for additional shipping charges
I accept Paypal, money order, or check. Paypal preferred to bigchriscustomknives@gmail.com.

First, "I'll take it," gets it.

Feel free to email any questions/comments to bigchriscustomknives@gmail.com.

Thanks for looking!

Nice one Chris! The black carbon fiber tubes & pins and the G10 liner really complement the Myrtle wood.

Thanks guys.

Brisket- I have used this Myrtle wood a few times and this is by far the most figured piece that came out of the block. It looked nothing like this until I soaked it in the BLO. It has tons of figure that needs to be in hand to be appreciated.

I am holding back, Chris, but just barely. This is SOOOoooo tempting. Beautiful knife, and the steel is far out.
It really is nice, but I gotta hold off. Someone is going to get a great knife.

Thanks for the great comments guys. This will serve someone incredibly.

Gorgeous Wood and Awesome steel, what better combination is there?

None. If I had the room in my budget this would already be gone. Someone will get a great knife and the rest of us will be jealous :)
