Hey Guys, I got myself a camera for my birthday so i thought I would redo some photos.

Today I have some Gaboon ebony. Its all at least 45 years old, so its dry and ready to use. While a few of these blocks are the classic jet black, most have a little bit of the caramel coloration makes them "in my eyes" far more attractive and more like African blackwood. Its a beautiful wood and it takes an amazing polish, second to none. Anything of note is mentioned, all measurements are inches

up to 3 blocks ship for 7 dollars, 14 for more.

Blocks 1-3 front

1-3 back

1. 1.5 - 1 - 6 $30 "very small crack, can be filled with super glue"
2. 1.75 - 1 - 6 $40
3. 2 - 1 - 6 $35 "very shallow dish, less than 1/32"

Blocks 4-6 front

4-6 back

4. 1.5 - 1 - 6 $25 "1/8 inch deep gouge in the middle, very attractive pattern. Perfect for bolsters."
5. 1.75 - 1 1/8 - 6 $40
6. 1.75 - 1 - 6 $40 "the darkest block of the lot, even with the gouge in the end the block is still 1.5 wide"

blocks 7-8 front

7-8 back

7. 1.75 - 1 - 6 $35 "very shallow dishing, again less than 1/32"
8. 1.5 - 1 - 5.5 $30
