Hi Guys - I'm passing on my Midnight Hunter - I just made that up, but that's totally what this knife should be called. If you've ever had the need to skin a deer in the dark, but also jump up & dispatch some walking dead, this is that knife you wished you had on you. I've had this knife/sheath for about 8-months now, I've never used it at all (a few paper tests does not count, come on) - & I've carried it just a few times around the house, so it's in like-new condition....the DCL coating is still like-new, Michal Komorovsky is one of the finest knife makers I've ever bought from, & his stuff is perfection, every time....this being one of those times. This, for some folks, is a bigger hunter, for others like me, it's a smaller fighter/hunter....the sheath is very well made - you should check out Michal's other works - his sheaths are right there with his amazing knives - & the hole package hangs very comfortably from the belt....it feels smaller than it is, if that makes sense, & if that doesn't make sense, you're not very smart. I'm kidding (I'm not kidding).
Elmax - a super tough stainless steel, hardened to 60 Hrc - It's of course very sharp...Elmax has become a steel of choice for....buzz word alert - Special Forces - as it's both very tough & a true stainless steel....it also has phenomenal edge holding qualities, & it can do your taxes & babysit for you in a pinch.
Blade & Guard has a very consistent DLC coating.
Handle is made from sculpted Ebony wood....feels really good in hand.
Sheath made of cow leather....ya know, from cows.
Total length - 270mm(10,629")
Thickness - 4,8mm(0,188")....with distal taper
I'm letting this beastie go for $227 - that's over a $100 less than I paid for it 8-months ago, & I underpaid....why, you ask....because I want this over with quickly, which is why I'd prefer that all offers be made on this thread so folks can see what's going on, where they stand, in close to real time....but hey, if you need/want to PM me, it's a free country (at least where I am).
