This knife was purchased from BladeGallery (BG) a number of years ago, and has sat in my display case ever since. It has never been carried, cut anything, or mishandled. It is MINT, just like the day I got it from BG. Here is the link from BG for the knife. They have done a much better job photographing and describing the knife than I could ever do!

This knife is perfect in every way, and I am very picky. You will NOT be disappointed in this knife. Keep in mind, the knife shown on BG is the actual custom knife that I am selling, not a representative sample. Priced to move at $700 $650 $600 $575 $550 $490 $475 SPF. CONUS shipping (plus insurance) is included.

First "I'll take it" in this thread or in email gets it.

Thanks for looking.

OK, here are my lousy pictures of the knife. (really, check out the BladeGallery link above -- MUCH better!)

Per the BladeGallery site (see link above):

Blade length: 2.50 in.
Total length: 6.25 in.
Blade width: 0.56 in.
Blade thickness: 0.11 in.
Item weight: 1.92 oz.

The site also has additional info. like blade steel, damascus maker, etc. Thanks for your interest.

Yet another price drop! Come on folks, this is a great knife at a really great price. Go ahead and make me an offer. What's the worst that can happen?

Yet another price reduction. Thoughts of Evilbay are creeping upon me. If you want this knife without Evilbay bidding competition, ya better get movin'.

I have 2 questions;
1. Is it a flat grind or hollow (looks flat)?
2. When it's closed, is the blade dead center?

If the answers to these questions are flat and yes, I'll take it :D.

Your answers.

1. It looks flat to me too, particularly when I hold a straightedge up to the blade. I'm certainly no expert at this, but let's just say that if it is ever so slightly hollow ground, it is REALLY REALLY hard to tell. Hope that helps??

2. Yup, blade centers dead on.

Let me know how you want to proceed.

If you look closely at the reflection in the first picture, you can see the lines of the fabric it is photographed on. Other than the very beginning of the grind and at the tip, they look very straight. I think if it was hollow ground, you would see curved lines, so it sure looks like a flat grind.
