This Beaver has been chewing and chopping.
If you look close at my scrimshaw on the Cleaver handle the Beaver has his Cleaver in his hands I tried to give him that look of DO NOT MESS WITH MY CLEAVER. The large scrimshawed Beaver chewing on the limb I did on a large piece of Elk Antler and carved the top to look like a Beaver has been chewing. Some thing different (Never have built a Cleaver before) and would make a great display for a whatever
Anyway Cleaver specs are below.
Cleaver OAL;8 1/2 inches
Blade;4 1/2 inches in length and 3 1/2 inches in width at widest point.ATS34 hand sanded to 400 grit with a medium scotch bright finish and a double convex grind.1/8 inch thick. Very sharp. Thanks again Jack
Handle; Beautiful clear fossil Walrus Ivory with mosaic pins and black acrylic spacers. Scrimshawed Beaver with Cleaver on handle.
Display; Display is a piece of black acrylic with a really beautiful piece of African Ebony.Display is 11 inches long and is 10 inches in high.
