SOLD -- SOLD -- SOLD -- Price drop from $100 to $95 to $90 to $85 plus $9 shipping (CONUS). This is a great little hunter by bladesmith Pierce Franklin (Frank) Beck Jr. of Barnwell SC. Frank is a highly accomplished bladesmith who worked with the great George Herron. This is my last Beck.

Full tapered tang construction. The stainless steel blade (ATS-34, almost positive) is mirror polished, hollow ground with a flat, mirror finished ricasso, 3 1/4" in length. The ricasso is stamped "BECK ". Overall, the knife measures 7 3/4".

The scales are very nice ironwood and are separated from the tapered tang by fine black spacers. Six stainless steel pins fasten them. The knife comes with a sheath that has bumped around the inside of a safe for 14 years, and thus is pretty beat up, but the knife is not.

The only thing keeping the knife from being mint are a couple pinpoints around two of the pins and a few fleabite-type scratches at the blade tip, unrecognizable unless you are looking for them.

For the price, a great hunter from a great maker who worked side by side with George Herron.

Overall length, again, is 7 3/4", blade 3 1/4”. The knife and sheath are both numbered 841, as was the tradition of both Beck and Herron.

$100 plus $8 shipping (CONUS). Money order or Paypal.
