Up for sale (or partial trade) is a Beck WSK Model G. I received this in a trade for my model C... I definitely prefer this knife, but I can't afford to keep it due to expenses from my mother-in-law's funeral.
This knife is used. The bevel area has some scuffing from from the previous owner. I oil wet-sanded the blade with some fine paper (replicating the original finish and grain direction) to remove some of the scratches and polish the blade up some. The belly/hatchet edge has been convexed.
This knife has a tapered tang and balances really well for a large knife. The flat area of the spine is squared for ferro striking.
If you've ever wanted to try a knife with the Tracker-style blade but without a sawback, you can't get a better example than this model. I have this same knife setup but with a blued blade finish ordered from David Beck right now, and the wait list is 16 months long.
I'm looking for SOLD). Only trade I would be interested in is a partial trade for the right Adventure Sworn Mountainer or Skookum Bushtool, but I cannot go for a full trade... I need to recoup some cash.
