Lol, that damn talon had to be stinkin by the time he got done playing with it......... heres a couple of more pics of the forge setup we had.

The simple coal forge was cool and the one I got to play with the most. Tackett brought his gas forge but ran out of gas before I got to play with it. Thanks to him and 1066Vik fot dragging all that stuff to Ethans. Man was it fun.

And heres the byproduct of my first forging attempt. Gonna be a double edged dagger. (The marker lines are grind lines) gonna be fun to see how this one turns out.

As I look through these candid pics, I'm continually reminded of something that several people said throughout the whole Gathering - "You can't make this stuff up. It just kinda happens."

Also, I notice you can totally tell which pics were taken on Sunday morning, because Matt and I are both clutching bottles of water for dear life... instead of bottles of something else....

As for the paparazzi... those rascals! They were so sneaky we didn't even know they were taking pictures until it was much too late to do anything about it, or look pretty for the camera or at least not bark at the moon like a wild animal... *ahemMissKay* I am torn between my curiosity about seeing what was captured, and my fear of being forever embarassed by what was captured...
